EPISODE 138: Enrique Rios and Elijah Moore - Case Update

On the evening of October 17, 2016, 16-year-old Enrique Rios disappeared after saying goodnight to his mom. The following morning, his mom received texts from his phone that she didn't think sounded like her son. Law enforcement initially suspected that Enrique had run away but then Enrique's friend disappeared too. 17-year-old Elijah Moore was last seen cashing his check on November 4, 2016. Their families always suspected that their disappearances were connected and that the boys hadn't run off.

Since they have been missing, many rumors had been going around. All of the rumors kept pointing at the same people. Back in June, 4 men were arrested and charged with their murders.

Enrique's mom, Lola, joined me to discuss these devastating developments.

EPISODE 137: Jacob Hilkin Part 2

IMG_3341.JPG

24-year-old Jacob Hilkin was last seen at 10:20am in Tulalip, Washington on January 23, 2018. He had been at a casino with some friends and left stating that he was going to catch a bus home. There is no evidence that he got on a bus that day. His family, friends and volunteers have not stopped searching for Jake but with many unconfirmed sightings and little evidence to go on, what happened to him remains a mystery.

For this second part of Jacob's story, his mom, Marni, joined me again to discuss the more recent developments in his case.

If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Jacob Hilkin, please call the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office at 425-388-3845. You can follow his case on Facebook: Find Jacob Hilkin.

UPDATE: On Sunday, February 9, 2020, skeletal remains were located not far from where Jacob was last seen. They were later identified as Jacob Hilkin.

On the morning of September 20, 2001, 33-year-old Angela Whalen Hudson walked her two children to the bus stop in Pelham, North Carolina. When her children returned home that day, Angela wasn’t home and they were told by their stepfather that she had said she had to go “do something” and just walked off. Angela never returned and was never seen again.

In the months leading up to Angela's disappearance, her marriage had broken down and Angela had started to move forward with a divorce. Angela had gotten a restraining order against her husband just a month before she went missing.

Even though there was a history of abuse in her marriage, since there was never any evidence of a crime, not much has been done by law enforcement to find Angela.

If you have any information about the disappearance of Angela Whalen Hudson, please call the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office at (336) 634-3232.

Currently, there is a $1000 dollar reward from Crime Stoppers for any information leading to an arrest.  You can reach Crime Stoppers at 336 349-9683.

There is also another $1000 dollars which has been personally donated to the cause. This reward is for any information leading to Angela's whereabouts.

Angela’s family has a Facebook page for her and that’s called Bring Angie Home.  They also have an email if you’d like to submit a tip, that is bringangiehomenow@gmail.com.
