EPISODE 212: Marcie Crane Peterson

unnamed-1.jpg

On October 30, 2003, 28-year-old Marcie Crane and her husband were staying at a hotel in Marietta, Georgia. The two had been estranged but were trying to rekindle their relationship. While her husband was out running errands, Marcie disappeared. Before she left, she gave a housekeeper the key to the room and asked her to give it to her husband. That is the last time that anyone heard from Marcie.

After her disappearance, several suspicious stories began to surface. A man who lent Marcie money had allegedly threatened her. Another man who she had previously dated and worked with for many years in the real estate business, he moved to another state and cut off contact with Marcie's family. Her family later learned that he had used a fake name all along. Her family was also wary of her husband because she hadn't known him that long and met him online. More than 16 years have passed since Marcie was last seen and her family feels like they are no closer to finding out the truth.

If you have any information about the disappearance of Marcie Crane, you are asked to call the Cobb County, Georgia Police Department at 770-499-3862.

EPISODE 211: David Lovely

0-2.jpeg

In August of 1985, 19-year-old David Lovely and his family were moving from their home in California to Massachusetts. David’s mother and sister were driving the moving truck while David rode his maroon 1978 Model 1100 Yamaha motorcycle. Every 30 miles or so, the family would stop to check on one another. During one stop in Evanston, WY, David told his family he wanted to continue on and that he would meet up with them at the next rest stop. At some point, David stopped in Fort Bridger, WY and called his aunt from the Bingo Truck Stop to tell her that his motorcycle had broken down. He said another man, who also had a motorcycle, had helped him fix whatever the issue was. David asked to his aunt to relay this message to his family when they called her at their next stop. Sadly, this would be the last time David’s family would hear from him. Nine days later, his motorcycle was found by campers on a dirt road near Sweetwater County Airport in Rock Springs, WY, but there was no sign of David.

If you have any information in regards to the whereabouts of David Lovely please call Sweetwater County, Wyoming Sheriff's Department 307-872-6350, Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation 307-777-7181 or Huntington Beach, California Police Department 714-536-5641.
